Price Barbershop Public Meeting Series - 1/8/2024, 1/30/2024 & 3/12/2024

The first of the public meeting series for Price Barbershop will be held Monday, January 8th at 12:00 pm at the Brady Recreation Center. The purpose of this meeting is to engage the historic African-American residents of the Six West area to seek additional information for the future use of the historic barbershop. This meeting will be follow by hybrid (virtual and in-person) meetings Tuesday, January 30th and Tuesday, March 12th at 6:00 pm.

Price Barbershop is an iconic historical landmark in our beloved African-American community. The City of College Park recognizes the importance of the legacy and heritage of Price Barbershop and what it means to the past, present & future African-American community. We will be hosting a series of three public meetings to ensure that the voices and vision of the community and stakeholders are elevated and the neighborhood’s rich cultural heritage and future is preserved.
