Some key points:
MARTA’s Airport Station is temporarily closed for station renovation. The College Park Station will have bus shuttle service to the airport during the closure from April 8th – May 19th. The shuttle is running every 12 minutes for 22 hours each day, from 4 AM – 2 AM. Wayfinding signage and additional buses will be on standby and additional staff will be on-site to assist shuttle riders. Please visit itsmarta.com to learn more.
In time for spring and summer park outings, we have four new park attendants with two more who are currently going through the human resources process. This will bring us to a full compliment of six attendants who will ensure everyone can safely enjoy the amenities our city has to offer.
Recreation and Cultural Arts will be offering the 2024 Summer Day Camp. There are three two-week sessions being offered at the Brady, Conley, and Wyatt Recreation Centers. The cost is $120 per two-week session. Daily activities are designed to promote creativity, athleticism, and social skills. This summer will explore visual and performance arts, non-competitive sports and team building exercises. All activities are child development based and will help children build self-confidence.
