Some key points:

  • Georgia Cities Week is next month from April 21-27, 2024. One of the events that has been scheduled is the 2nd annual Touch-A Truck event, which was quite popular last year.

  • The College Park Tumbleweeds Xcel Silver team brought home a first-place trophy at the Courtney Kupets “Pink Gymnastics” Invitational in Savannah on March 1-3, 2024.

  • The College Park Recreation & Cultural Arts basketball program had three teams dominate in the Georgia Recreation & Parks Association state tournament. The Girls’ 8U team finished first at the tournament at Whitfield and the Girls’ 10U were runners up. The boys’ basketball program had two teams finish first. The 8U Boys’ won district in Kennesaw and the 10U Major won in Albany.
