1/22/2024 Special Called Meeting Recap

At Monday’s Special Called Meeting, the Council voted to rescind Stanley Hawthorne’s termination with cause, accepted his resignation effective January 22, 2024 and approved the Resignation and General Release Agreement.

Given the many discussions throughout the city on this crucial topic, I proposed incorporating a public comment section in this special called meeting. Unfortunately, other members of our governing body did not support this proposal. As always, however, we have public comment built into our regular meetings. You can attend and speak on any topic and you can also submit comments to be read at the meeting to pcomment@collegeparkga.com no later than 7:30 pm the night of the meeting.
